Welcome to Templait
Welcome, and thank you for using Templait.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Templait website, web application, mobile applications, community features, and related services provided by T25Apps OPC Private Limited ("Templait", "we", "our", or "us").
By creating an account or using Templait, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Service.
These Terms work together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
1. What Templait Is
Templait is a visual template creation and specification tool.
It helps you define:
- The structure of a visual design
- Where different elements should appear
- What each element is intended to contain
- Instructions or briefs associated with individual elements
Templates can be exported into supported formats such as XML, JSON, Markdown, PNG, and SVG.
You can then use the exported template with AI assistants, LLMs, or other tools of your choice.
2. Templait Does Not Provide AI Generation
Templait itself does not provide AI-generated content.
Templait does not use AI to generate, analyse, rewrite, or interpret the content of your templates.
It is a tool for creating a structured visual specification that can be provided to another AI or content-generation system.
Any content generated after you export and use a Templait template is generated by the third-party service you choose to use. That service's own terms, policies, capabilities, and limitations apply.
3. Your Account
You may create a Templait account using:
- Email and one-time password (OTP)
- Google Sign-In
- Sign in with Apple on supported Apple platforms
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity carried out through your account.
You should contact us through Support if you believe that your account has been compromised.
Sign in with Apple
An account created using Sign in with Apple may currently be tied to the Apple authentication identity used during registration.
As a result, you may not be able to access the same account through web authentication using Google or email.
4. Your Templates and Content
You retain ownership of the content you create and enter into your templates, subject to any rights belonging to third parties.
You are responsible for the content you create, store, export, or publish through Templait.
Templait does not allow users to upload images or other file attachments.
Image and media elements in the editor are placeholders that users can define as part of a template.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights and permissions to use any text, names, designs, or other intellectual property you include in a template.
5. Personal and Confidential Information
You may choose to include personal, confidential, sensitive, or other private information in a template. You do so at your own risk.
You should avoid including information that does not need to be part of the template.
In particular, you should not include passwords, authentication credentials, financial account credentials, or other highly sensitive information unless you have a legitimate reason to do so.
6. Community Publishing
Templait may allow you to publish templates to the community.
When you publish a template to the community, you understand that it may become visible to other users and may be copied, viewed, or reused by them.
You are responsible for reviewing a template before publishing it.
Do not publish templates containing personal information, confidential information, passwords, financial information, or other information that you do not want to make publicly available.
By publishing a template, you represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions to publish its content.
If your account is deleted, your published community templates are also deleted from the Templait database.
If another user has already copied one of your published templates into their own account and is working on that private copy, that copy belongs to the other user's account and is not deleted when your account is deleted.
7. Your License to Templait
You retain ownership of your content.
To operate features such as storing, displaying, synchronizing, and publishing your templates, you grant Templait a limited license to host, reproduce, display, transmit, and process your content as necessary to provide the Service.
For templates you publish to the community, this license also allows us to display the template to other users as part of the community.
We do not claim ownership of your templates.
8. Community Content
Templates published by users are user-generated content.
Templait does not guarantee the accuracy, quality, legality, usefulness, or originality of community templates.
You should independently evaluate any template you find in the community before using it.
We may remove content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms, applicable law, or the safety and integrity of the Service.
9. Acceptable Use
When using Templait, you agree not to:
- Violate applicable laws or regulations
- Publish content that you do not have the right to use
- Publish another person's personal information without appropriate permission
- Include passwords, authentication credentials, or other information intended to provide unauthorized access to systems
- Attempt unauthorized access to Templait accounts or systems
- Interfere with the operation or security of the Service
- Introduce malicious software or harmful code
- Abuse or disrupt the community
- Attempt to bypass technical restrictions or security controls
- Reverse engineer the Service except where permitted by applicable law
- Use the Service for unlawful or fraudulent purposes
We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the Service, our users, or our infrastructure.
10. Free Access and Voluntary Payments
Templait is free for everyone.
There are no paywalls, trials, or locked features.
We may provide an optional mechanism for users to make a voluntary payment if they choose to do so.
A voluntary payment does not purchase additional features or access to the application.
Payment processing may be handled by the applicable app store or payment provider.
11. Intellectual Property
Templait, including its software, branding, trademarks, logos, user interface, graphics, designs, and underlying technology, is owned by T25Apps OPC Private Limited or its licensors.
These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Templait for its intended purposes.
No ownership rights in Templait itself are transferred to you.
12. Third-Party AI Services
Templait is designed to work alongside third-party AI and LLM services.
When you export a template and provide it to another service, you are responsible for understanding that service's terms and privacy practices.
Templait does not control how a third-party AI service processes information after you provide it to that service.
We are not responsible for the output, accuracy, availability, privacy practices, or policies of third-party AI services.
13. Service Availability
We work to keep Templait reliable and available.
However, Templait is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
The Service may occasionally be unavailable because of:
- Maintenance
- Software updates
- Internet connectivity issues
- Cloud infrastructure problems
- Third-party service interruptions
- Security incidents
- Circumstances beyond our reasonable control
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
14. Your Responsibility for Exported Templates
Templait provides tools for creating and exporting template specifications.
We do not guarantee that every AI assistant, LLM, design tool, or other third-party application will interpret or follow an exported template exactly as intended.
The resulting output depends on the capabilities and behaviour of the service in which you use the template.
You are responsible for reviewing any output generated using your templates.
15. Privacy
Your use of Templait is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we process it, how we protect it, how long we retain it, and the privacy rights and choices available to you under applicable law.
Our privacy practices are intended to comply with applicable data-protection requirements, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 in India and, where applicable based on the user or processing activity, privacy laws such as the GDPR and applicable U.S. state privacy laws.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights you may have under applicable privacy or consumer-protection laws.
16. Account Deletion
You may delete your Templait account through the application.
When you delete your account, your account data, private templates, and published community templates will be deleted from the Templait database, subject to limited information that may need to be retained for legal, security, or dispute-resolution purposes.
If another user has already copied one of your published templates into their own account, that private copy belongs to their account and will not be deleted when your account is deleted.
17. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using Templait at any time.
We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary, including if:
- You materially violate these Terms
- You use the Service unlawfully
- Your activity threatens the security or integrity of the Service
- Your activity harms other users or the community
- Continued access creates a significant risk to the Service or its users
Where reasonably possible, we may provide notice before taking action, except where immediate action is necessary.
18. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Templait is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
While we work to provide reliable software and accurate functionality, we do not guarantee that:
- The Service will always be available
- The Service will always be error-free
- Exported templates will always be interpreted correctly by third-party services
- Third-party AI services will follow your template instructions
- Community templates will be accurate, useful, or appropriate
- The Service will always operate without interruption
19. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, T25Apps OPC Private Limited and its directors, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of Templait.
This includes losses arising from:
- Use of or reliance on community templates
- Use of exported templates with third-party AI services
- Third-party AI-generated content
- Loss or corruption of content
- Temporary unavailability of the Service
- Unauthorized access resulting from circumstances outside our reasonable control
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
