1. Who We Are

Templait is operated by T25Apps OPC Private Limited, a company incorporated in India.

Templait is a visual template creation and specification tool that helps you define where content should go and what each part of a template should contain.

Website: https://www.templait.app

Support Email: contact@t25apps.com

For privacy-related questions or requests, you can contact us through the Support section within Templait or by email.

2. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the Templait website, web application, mobile applications, community features, support interactions, and related services provided by T25Apps OPC Private Limited. It explains:

  • What information we collect
  • Why we collect it
  • How we use and protect it
  • How long we retain it
  • Your rights and choices
  • How you can request deletion or exercise applicable privacy rights

Third-party services used for authentication, infrastructure, crash reporting, app distribution, or payment processing operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

3. What Templait Is — and Is Not

Templait is a visual template creation and specification tool. It allows you to:

  • Create visual templates using elements and content sections.
  • Define what each element is intended to contain.
  • Add instructions or briefs to individual elements.
  • Export templates in supported formats such as XML, JSON, Markdown, PNG, and SVG.
  • Publish templates to the Templait community if you choose to do so.

Templait does not use AI

Templait itself does not use artificial intelligence to generate, analyse, rewrite, or interpret your template content. Templait does not send your templates, AI briefs, or other template content to an AI provider for generation or analysis.

The purpose of Templait is to help you create a structured visual template that you can then export and use with an AI assistant or LLM of your choice. Once you export a template and provide it to another service, that service's own privacy policy and terms apply.

4. What Information We Collect

We collect only the limited information necessary to provide Templait and maintain your account.

4.1 Account information

Depending on how you create your account, we may collect:

  • Email address
  • Display name
  • Authentication method
  • Authentication-related identifiers

You may create an account using:

  • Email and one-time password (OTP)
  • Google Sign-In
  • Sign in with Apple on supported Apple platforms

Your display name is provided by you when setting up your Templait account.

Sign in with Apple

If you use Sign in with Apple, Apple may provide Templait with a private relay email address instead of your personal email address, depending on the choices you make during Apple sign-in.

Accounts created through Sign in with Apple may currently be associated with the Apple authentication identity used to create them. As a result, an account created using Sign in with Apple may not be available for sign-in on the web using Google or email authentication. This is an authentication implementation limitation and does not mean that Templait collects additional personal information from you.

4.2 Templates and content you create

Templait stores the templates you create so that you can access, edit, export, and manage them. A template may contain information that you choose to enter, including:

  • Text
  • AI briefs or instructions
  • Names
  • Descriptions
  • Charts
  • Tables
  • Other structured template content
  • Other information you intentionally place within your template

Templait does not allow users to upload images or other file attachments. Image and media elements in the editor are placeholders that users can define as part of a template. They are not uploaded files. We do not inspect your templates for personal information.

Important

You are responsible for the information you choose to put into your templates. If you include personal, confidential, sensitive, financial, business, or other private information in a template, that information becomes part of the template data stored by Templait. Please only include information that you are comfortable storing in the Service.

4.3 Community templates

Templait allows you to voluntarily publish templates to the community. A template that you publish to the community may be visible to other Templait users. Before publishing a template, you are responsible for ensuring that it does not contain:

  • Personal information
  • Contact information
  • Private or confidential information
  • Passwords, authentication information, or credentials
  • Financial information
  • Information belonging to another person without their permission
  • Other information that you do not intend to make publicly available

We strongly recommend reviewing a template before publishing it to the community.

4.4 Support requests

If you contact us through the Support section, we may receive the information you choose to provide, such as:

  • Your email address
  • Your name or display name
  • Your question or feedback
  • Information about an issue you are experiencing

We use this information to respond to your request, investigate issues, and provide support.

4.5 Crash and diagnostic information

We use Sentry for crash reporting and technical diagnostics. Sentry may receive limited technical and diagnostic information needed to identify crashes and improve application reliability, such as:

  • Device type
  • Operating system version
  • Application version
  • Crash information
  • Diagnostic information associated with a crash

We do not use crash-reporting information for advertising or behavioural profiling.

5. Information We Do Not Collect

Templait intentionally avoids collecting information that is not necessary to provide the Service. We do not intentionally collect:

  • Bank account information
  • Credit or debit card information
  • UPI credentials
  • Financial account credentials
  • Government-issued identity documents
  • Contacts
  • SMS messages
  • Precise device location
  • Advertising profiles
  • Behavioural analytics
  • Information from your other applications

Templait does not use advertising SDKs or behavioural tracking systems.

6. How We Use Your Information

We use information only as necessary to:

  • Create and authenticate your account
  • Provide access to your templates
  • Store and synchronize your templates
  • Allow you to edit and manage your templates
  • Provide template export functionality
  • Publish templates to the community when you choose to do so
  • Respond to support requests
  • Diagnose crashes and technical problems
  • Maintain the security and reliability of the Service
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not use your information for targeted advertising or behavioural profiling.

7. Legal Basis for Processing Personal Information

We process personal information only for specific purposes connected with providing and maintaining Templait. Depending on the applicable privacy law and the particular processing activity, our legal basis may include:

  • Performance of a contract: where processing is necessary to create and operate your Templait account and provide the Service you request.
  • Consent: where applicable law requires consent for a particular processing activity.
  • Legal obligations: where processing is necessary to comply with applicable law.
  • Legitimate interests: where permitted by applicable law and where our interests are not overridden by your rights and freedoms.

For users subject to the GDPR, personal data must be processed on an applicable lawful basis. For users in India, we process personal data in accordance with applicable requirements of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and rules or regulations applicable to the Service.

8. AI and Third-Party AI Services

Templait does not use AI. Templait does not send your templates, AI briefs, or other template content to an AI provider for generation or analysis. Templait simply helps you create a structured template that can be exported and used with an AI assistant of your choice.

For example, you may export a template and provide it to ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, or another AI service. When you do this, you are interacting directly with that third-party service, and its own privacy policy, terms, and data-handling practices apply. Templait does not control how that third-party service processes information after you provide it.

9. How We Protect Your Information

Your account and template information is stored using secure cloud infrastructure. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including:

  • HTTPS/TLS encrypted communications
  • Authenticated account access
  • Database access controls
  • Appropriate database security policies
  • Secure cloud infrastructure

Your template data is stored in Supabase, which we use for authentication and database infrastructure. While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10. Third-Party Service Providers

Templait uses third-party services to operate certain parts of the application. These may include:

  • Supabase — authentication and secure database infrastructure
  • Google — Google Sign-In
  • Apple — Sign in with Apple
  • Sentry — crash reporting and technical diagnostics
  • Apple App Store / Google Play — app distribution and, where applicable, voluntary payment processing

These providers may process information according to their own privacy policies and terms. Where third-party providers process personal information on our behalf, we take reasonable steps to require appropriate privacy and security protections. Some service providers may process information outside India or outside your country of residence. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international data transfers, we will take appropriate measures.

11. Voluntary Payments

Templait is completely free to use. There are no paywalls, trials, or locked features. Templait may allow users to make a voluntary payment if they choose to do so. A voluntary payment does not unlock additional functionality or provide additional access to the application.

Any payment information used to make a voluntary payment is handled by the applicable payment provider or app store. Templait does not store your payment card, bank account, or banking credentials.

12. Data Retention and Account Deletion

We retain your account and template data while your account remains active. You can delete your Templait account from within the application.

When you delete your account, your account data, private templates, and published community templates are deleted from the Templait database. If another user has previously copied one of your published community templates and is working on their own private copy, that private copy belongs to that user's account and is not deleted when your account is deleted.

Limited information may need to be retained where required by law, necessary to resolve disputes, or necessary for legitimate security purposes. We aim to retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected or as required by applicable law.

13. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live and which privacy laws apply to you, you may have rights regarding your personal information. These may include:

  • The right to know what personal information we hold about you
  • The right to access your personal information
  • The right to correct inaccurate information
  • The right to request deletion
  • The right to request restriction of processing
  • The right to object to certain processing
  • The right to data portability, where applicable
  • The right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
  • The right to lodge a complaint with a relevant privacy or data-protection authority

For users subject to the GDPR, these rights include access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and certain rights relating to automated decision-making and profiling. Templait does not use automated decision-making or profiling to make decisions about users.

For users in India, applicable rights under the DPDP Act will be provided in accordance with the Act and applicable rules. For users in the United States, applicable state privacy laws may provide additional rights - for example, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, provides California residents with certain rights regarding personal information, including rights relating to access, deletion, and certain uses or disclosures. These rights apply only where the relevant law applies to the business and individual.

You can exercise applicable privacy rights by contacting us through the Support section within Templait or by emailing contact@t25apps.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests in order to protect your account and information.

14. Children's Privacy

Templait is not intended for children under the minimum age required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.

If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child in circumstances where collection is not permitted, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

15. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Templait mobile application does not use browser cookies. The Templait website may use essential cookies or similar technologies where necessary for website functionality. We do not use cookies for behavioural advertising or cross-site advertising profiles.

16. Third-Party Services

Templait does not provide or display links to third-party websites, AI services, or other external services as part of the application. Templait does, however, rely on certain third-party service providers to operate parts of the Service, such as authentication, database infrastructure, crash reporting, app distribution, and payment processing. These providers are described in Section 10.

When you independently choose to use an external AI service with a template exported from Templait, that service operates independently from Templait and its own privacy policy and terms apply.

17. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the Last Updated date at the beginning of this policy and, where appropriate, provide additional notice within the application or through another suitable communication channel.
