A visual template builder for AI-generated content

Give AI a canvas. Tell it what to create and where.

Create visual templates that guide AI assistants like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Grok to generate content in the right places. Define each section, describe what belongs there, and export the template as XML to paste straight into the AI chat you already use.

01 / How it works

From an idea to an AI-ready template

  1. Create your canvas

Arrange simple content sections to define the structure of your design.

  2. Give every section a purpose

Describe what belongs in each section, along with the style and constraints the AI should follow.

  3. Export and create with AI

Export the template as XML and paste it into any AI chat - the layout and every instruction go with it, so the assistant knows what to write and where.

02 / The problem

AI can create the content. But can it follow your layout?

AI assistants are remarkably good at generating text, ideas, and images. But getting them to put the right content in the right place, follow a specific structure, and respect your design requirements can take repeated prompting and a lot of trial and error.

Templait gives your AI a clear visual blueprint. Instead of describing your entire layout in a long prompt, define the structure visually and give each section its own instructions. Then export the template and use it with your preferred AI assistant.

One long promptLayout, tone, lengths and constraints, all in prose.

03 / What you can create

One canvas. Many possibilities.

Create templates for all kinds of visual content. Here are a few examples.

  • A square social post layout with a headline section, a product image area, a supporting text block and a call to action.

    Social media posts

Define where the headline, visual, supporting text, and call to action should go.

  • A portrait event poster layout with a title section, an image area, the date and venue, and registration details.

    Posters and announcements

Specify the event details, image area, key message, and other essential elements.

  • An infographic layout with a title section, key facts, short explanations and a simple diagram area.

    Infographics and explainers

Organise facts, summaries, statistics, and explanations into a clear visual structure.

  • A presentation slide layout with a concise title section, a list of key points and a supporting image.

    Presentation slides and more

Create reusable layouts for structured content, reports, educational material, and other visual formats.

Each one is a layout you would define in Templait. The content comes from your AI assistant.

04 / Works with your favourite AI

Your template. Your AI. Your choice.

Templait helps you define the structure and the instructions. Export the template as XML and paste that one block into the chat of whichever assistant you use.

Keep your template as a reusable starting point, refine it when your needs change, and adapt it to different projects and AI workflows.

  • ChatGPT
  • Gemini
  • Grok
  • And others

No partnership or endorsement is implied. Results vary by assistant and by model.

05 / Simple by design

A visual way to communicate with AI.

Templait isn't another design editor. It's a way to show AI what you have in mind.

  1. See the structure

Arrange content sections visually instead of describing an entire layout in a long prompt.

  2. Give every section a purpose

Tell the AI what belongs in each section and specify the instructions that matter.

  3. Reuse your templates

Save a structure you like and adapt it for future content instead of starting from scratch.

06 / Export

Create once. Export. Use it your way.

Build your template visually, then export its structure and instructions in a format that fits your workflow. XML is the one to paste into an AI chat: the layout and every brief arrive as one block, so the assistant has the whole blueprint in front of it.

  • JSON

The whole template, machine-readable: structure and briefs.

  • Markdown

Readable structure and instructions, ready to paste into a chat.

  • XML

The paste-ready one: layout and briefs in a single block for any AI chat agent.

  • SVG

The design itself, as vectors that scale to any size.

  • PNG

The design as an image, at the canvas size.

An export states the choices you made and leaves out the defaults you kept, so there is less for an assistant to misread.

07 / Free for everyone

Free to use. Funded by honesty.

Templait is completely free for everyone. No paywalls, no trials, and no locked features.

What is Templait?

Templait is a visual template builder that helps you define a layout and provide instructions for AI-generated content. You arrange content sections, describe what belongs in each one, and export the template for use with an AI assistant.

How do I use a template with an AI chat?

Export it as XML and paste the block into the chat - ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok or any other assistant. The export carries the layout and the instruction written for every section, so the assistant knows what to write and where to put it.

Is Templait free?

Yes. Templait is free for everyone, with no paywalls, trials, or locked features. You can choose to make a one-time voluntary payment if you find it useful.

Do I need to pay to use all the features?

No. All available features are free to use. Paying is entirely optional.

Do I need an account?

A free account, yes - that is what saves your templates and keeps them yours. It is the same account in the browser and in the mobile apps, and there is no card and nothing to cancel.

Which AI assistants can I use with Templait?

Any of them. The export is plain XML that says what belongs where, so it can be pasted into ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok or whichever assistant you already use. Results may vary depending on the assistant and its capabilities.

Does Templait generate the final design itself?

Templait helps you define the layout and instructions. You then paste the exported template into your AI assistant to guide content generation.

Do I need to know how to code?

Templait is designed to let you define templates visually, without needing to write the template structure by hand. The exports are readable, but you never have to open one.

Which formats can I export?

Five: JSON, Markdown and XML describe the structure and the instruction written for every section, and SVG and PNG are the design itself, rendered at the canvas size. XML is the one to paste into an AI chat.

Does my template get sent to an AI service?

No. Templait sends your templates nowhere. You export one and paste it into the assistant you choose yourself, and until then it sits in your account, readable only by you.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes. The mobile app has the full editor with pinch-to-zoom, touch-sized controls, export and share, and the same account and templates as the browser.
